What to Expect
Your visit begins with a confidential consultation with our doctor to understand your concerns and risk factors. A blood sample or finger-prick test is taken depending on the test type. Results are available the same day for rapid tests, or within 1-3 business days for lab-based tests. If your result is reactive, we provide immediate counselling and connect you with treatment.
Window Periods
Different tests have different window periods. 4th Generation tests can detect HIV from 2-4 weeks after exposure. Rapid antibody tests are most accurate from 3 months post-exposure. HIV RNA/PCR tests can detect the virus as early as 10-14 days. Our team will guide you on the right test and timing.
