Pap Smear
Quick, comfortable cervical screening for early detection and peace of mind.
What is a Pap Smear?
A Pap smear (cervical screening) is a routine test that checks for abnormal cells on the cervix that could develop into cervical cancer. It is one of the most effective cancer prevention tools available, detecting changes early when they are most treatable.
Who Needs Screening?
Women aged 25-65 should have regular cervical screening. If you have ever been sexually active, screening is recommended regardless of HPV vaccination status. The frequency depends on your age and previous results — typically every 1-3 years.
The Procedure
The test takes just a few minutes. A speculum is gently inserted, and a small brush collects cells from the cervix. Most women experience only mild discomfort. Results are available within 1-2 weeks.
